Who are the #Latino Americans? Many have been here for generations. Others arrived regularly from across the globe since America became a country. And, others are Sebastian Villaorduña whose mother worked menial jobs to get him here where he joined the #usmilitary before becoming a #citizen.

Today's @nytimes.com article about Jaime Cachua is a poignant reminder of what it is to be an Hispanic in America. Cachua for all intents and purposes is an “American.” His father-in-law voted for Trump but told Cachua #massdeportations were “not about you.” Cachua replied, “It is about me.”
