I loved this film.

Barbara Hepworth, 'Winter Solstice' (1970)

Re-sharing this for the #foodstudies feed: still plenty of room to join this #foodstudies #foodhistory #starterpack, so holler if you'd like to be added (or removed for that matter) go.bsky.app/Evp1Stc

NEWT IN POND KLAXON

Hello, here is a portrait of me that a live illustrator included in the workshop documentation from a recent work event if you want to see evidence of a person truly seen and publicly shamed.

Growing a willow tree in our dining room.

Finding the Pink Cloud.

Ugh. Sorting out old filing. Ugh ugh. Found this old headshot though.

Did a mini culture trail up from Temple to the Delaunay — via Holly Hendry and the Artist’s Garden, Reference Point and Superflux. Tried to look around 180 Studio / Soho House but politely ejected by security 🙄

Peter Hujar, ‘Forbidden Fruit’ (David Wojnarowicz Eating an Apple in an Issey Miyake shirt) from The Twelve Perfect Christmas Gifts from Dianne B., (1983)

Winter light. Birthday flowers.

Oh god, the pressure …

Back to 7am on the river — solidarity with other parents of children who like sports …

Incredibly moving — it was a very special evening and I wept through most of it.

Seeing the Gavin Bryars Ensemble playing Jesus’ Blood Never Failed Me Yet at St Martin-in-the-Fields, with The Choir With No Name, and Streetwise Opera (two groups who work with people who are homeless or who have experienced homelessness) was one of the most moving musical experiences of my life.

Submerging slowly at my mother’s.

No, *I’m* the luckiest. Three years married to @jeremymillar.bsky.social and he knows my impatience well enough to have presents ready the evening before.
