I refreshed the Community Copies on my itch, I try to do this every so often adding copies in trade for when folks leave reviews or comments on my stuff. Its a good way to share my work while still getting the algorithm to do something. molomoot.itch.io Take one, leave a comment, I'll add a new one

Doing shopping every week: Do we need tinned tomatoes? Not sure. Better get some. Putting away shopping: Oh, look, we've now got 48 tins of tomatoes.

this is one of the headlines of our time and I have the answer you don't explain. you force. conservatives understand only one thing and its consequences.

since it is Muppet Christmas Carol time, let us revisit this wonderful interview with Michael Caine, who loves it as much as the rest of us “People say to me, Have you ever sung? I say, Yes, I sang in a movie. They say, Who with? I say, Kermit the Frog.”

“Is it okay for a social media platform to be an echo chamber” back in the day we had websites and websites were generally focused on a single topic and if you were into that topic you would visit that website and if you weren’t into that topic you just didn’t go on that website and it was fine

So I've had my Christmas shop booked for ages (because I'm normal). I went in today to edit and found that right before Christmas... Ocado has upped all the prices! Supermarkets aren't even hiding how they rip us off over Christmas

Okay so I got Good Society as an early Christmas present and it is SO FUN so far. Admittedly, I watch the pride and prejudice mini series back to back when I am unwell so I am biased

The gem of a theory that garlic is to cooking as vanilla extract is to baking in that the amount you add to your food is guided by reckless extravagance and utter disregard, verging on mild contempt for the recipe as written.

this is actually very correct

I'm in this picture and I don't like it lol.

the greatest christmas story ever told uses the threat of dying alone and unmourned to scare a wealthy man straight and i think that’s just really nice

Take this as my GM advice to you: "Are you being too nice? Shouldn't you be nastier?"

The #dragonmeet bankruptcy haul of @coffeecupcaper.bsky.social @tom-lewis99.bsky.social and me Thanks to all the really cool people we spoke to, I'm very excited about playing all y'alls games 😎

Dragonmeet has bankrupted me but I should not be surprised by this at all

Dragonmeet!! I am full of Starbucks and ready to spend too much money

AI: "Let me help you with this email / post / text!" Me: I would rather drink bleach

playing vampire tonight (yay!) we're a couple of sessions into replaying out first ever campaign with new and very different characters and the nostalgia is real.

I really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really love playing TTRPGs with my friends

TTRPG people, any recommendations of good games for 2 players?

I cannot imagine NOT making up silly little stories, not wanting to make things look beautiful and/or interesting, not wanting to use my hands to change the shape & look of things for the joy of it, even if there was no official need for creativity. There's always need, the joy is the need.

Ok, random TTRPG thought: in a lot of instances, players and GMs seem to treat Intimidation as an overtly hostile act that almost by nature involves threats and failure to Intimidate leads to combat. I think that leads to it being underused since Persuasion or even Deception aren't as "risky."

Reading about people's TTRPG development fun is making me want to go back to my doctor-who-but-cooler WIP game... but I also have no idea what I'm doing lol

This happens to me ALL THE TIME

“I never see you at the club” Yeah well I never see you at the local game store.

Learning about narrative foils really helped me with this too, sometimes a character really works well with a foil NPC or villain in the story and it can really play into your themes

I respect everyone who doesn't paint their custodes gold but they are in fact,,, incorrect
