Obviously I love my local indie yarn shops, but they don’t carry acrylic/cheap stuff I can learn a new skill on. And we don’t need to keep patronizing these “everything” big box stores like Wal Mart and Amazon. Go directly to the source.

Mine is (as of now) not closing and I’m so hopeful it’ll stay because Michael’s yarn selection is terrible and I refuse to step foot in a Hobby Lobby (and I love my local indie yarn store, but I also need cheap yarn for when I’m learning new things)

Frankly Logan earned his boyfriend bona fides simply by tolerating that petulant man baby as a guest in his home. (My hot take is Logan is actually the best boyfriend for Rory all the way until the proposal ultimatum, which was ridiculous and seemed like he’d actually never met her)

I love Dawes! This is how I feel about a line in Christine by Lucy Dacus, where she’s singing to a woman she’s in love with who wants to have a baby. “Knowing you they’d be the first kid to never hurt another.” It’s such a stunningly kind thing to say about someone. It blows me away every time.

Do NOT trust that magnet on the side that holds the pen. It is a mere suggestion of a magnet.

Totally! I’m in my 40s and just picked up crochet and am so glad to have something to do with my hands that doesn’t involve my phone

For the uninitiated, tapestry crochet is like regular crochet but stressful
