It has been a while since I last took part in Top 5 Tuesday, but today's topic seemed fun! Let's dig up the books with a pronoun in the title. Have you read any from my selection?

As it's time to put together the spring 2025 TBR shortly, let's take a look on how I did on my Winter 2024 one. How do you think I did?

When one of your audiobook services decreased the maximum listening speed to 2.0 and you didn't even know because apparently it was all over Tiktok late last year and you don't have an account there so you were unpleassantly surprised by this is never fun.

I'm trying something new on the blog, setting a monthly TBR. What's on it for March?

Currently reading The Jasad Heir by Sara Hashem and I'm wondering if I'm the only one having trouble following this story? To me it feels like the author let's the mmain character jump from one thing to another like in the middle of a scene. A flashback? What am I reading?

Ramadan mubarak to all my muslim friends and followers out there!

In februari las ik 6 boeken. Benieuwd welke dit waren? Lees dan mijn maandoverzicht!

February was quite confronting when looking at my monthly stats. I've read much less than I would have liked and my average rating is quite average. Find out the entire breakdown of the past month on my blog today!

Let’s Talk Bookish: How Many Books Do You Read In A Year? It’s Friday and that means that it’s time for another Let’s Talk Bookish post! A bit later than I would normally post, but I forgot it was Friday yet again and so on and so on. Well, this week we discuss the number of books we read in a…

The #blogoftheday comes from @lauriereads.bsky.social and in this Top Ten Tuesday post Laurie shares ten books she has read but never reviewed on her blog plus the reasons why - check them out!! laurieisreading.com/2025/02/18/t...

This week's Top Ten Tuesday is all about books set in another time. So buckle up and get along on some time travelling!

The #reviewoftheday comes from @forbookssake.bsky.social and Danni really enjoyed ‘Hansel’ by Annalee Adams - ‘Both Hansel, and Gretel are fantastic horror short stories, but are not for the faint hearted.‘ forbookssake.home.blog/2025/02/13/r...

The #blogoftheday comes from @readeratwork.bsky.social and it’s Shazzie’s Book Picks of February list in which she presents some of the books she read in the previous month that really impressed her, plus her book of the month - check them out!! readeratworkblog.wordpress.com/2025/02/03/b...

Tokyo Dreaming is the sequel to Emiko Jean's Tokyo Ever After. It's an easy read, a little over the top and dramatic. This makes it a good palate cleanser. Read my full review on the blog.

Spark of the Everflame by Penn Cole is an interesting setup to another romantasy series. The characters are well-written, the writing is accessible and the story picks up and becomes a whirlwind. Want to know more? Read my full review on the blog!

It has been a minute since I did one of these, but what does my past reading week look like?

Over the years, I reviewed lots of books. But what books have I never reviewed on the blog? Today I list ten of them!

#TheBookOfAzrael - This first installment in the "Gods & Monsters" - series by @ambervnicole.bsky.social delivers a masterful blend of intricate world-building, compelling characters, and heart-pounding suspense. #books #bookbloggers theartofreading.de/en/the-book-...

It doesn’t seem that compatible with Google nest speakers, but maybe I’m doing something wrong? Because I can’t find these speakers in my Apple Music app either. And shuffle seems to be on a loop which I can’t break out of.

Can anybody help me out? I am on a 3-month Apple Music trial, so far so good. But, here comes the problem. I have Google speakers in both my home office and kitchen and I can't see those speakers when I open the Apple Music app on my Windows laptop. Is this normal? If not, how can I fix this?

It's February 14, and that's a good time to figure out my most and least favourite tropes in romance books. Do you enjoy to read romance? And what tropes do and don't you enjoy?

In 2024 I've been reading a lot of romance novels. With Valentine's Day just around the corner, I decided to take a look on what romances I have left on my TBR. Have you read any of these?

Sorry.

Miss Morgan's Book Brigade is a novel set in France during WOI where literature provides a much needed escape. Told in a dual timeline narrative, we learn more about this period of time in history. This was a real surprise to me as I didn't know this was on my TBR. Find out more in my review.

Reading challenges, do you love or hate them? My relationship with them is quite complicated, check out why and how in this week's Let's Talk Bookish post!

My current read is one I enjoy, but I have the feeling the Dutch audiobook is moving so slow, the dutch ebook is quite expensive (€12,99), the English audiobook isn't on Storytel and the Kindle version is even more expensive than the Dutch ebook. Oh the strugles…

Onyx Storm by Rebecca Yarros was one of my anticipated books for 2025. After reading, I'm feeling very conflicted about this third book in the "The Empyrean" series. Want to know why? You can find more about it in my review.

I keep saying that I want to focus more on my backlog in 2025. But what books from the backlog do I hope to read this year? Find out in today's blog post.

It’s already February, so 2025 has officially kicked off. How did my reading year start? Find out in today’s monthly wrap up of January! laurieisreading.com/2025/02/01/m...

Beautiful Mess by Claire Christian is one of the books from my huge backlog I really wanted to give a fair chance. After leaving it on the shelf for 7 years, it was time. This book is trigger heavy, please read the first paragraph of my review carefully.

It's Wednesday, so time to look back on the past week in books. What am I reading? What have I read and what will I be reading next?

For this week's Top Ten Tuesday, I listed several of the new-to-me authors I've read in 2024. Have you read any books by them?

A Language of Dragons by S.F. Williamson is one of my most anticipated releases for the first half of 2025. It contains dragons, dark academia, historical fiction and romantsy. Did this book live up to those anticipations? Find out in today’s review.
