TIL there can be traffic lights in the middle of tropical rainforests. Not because of the traffic, though. It's because a lot of the road washed away and there's barely room for one way traffic. Which seems like an outstanding reason for there to be a traffic light in a rainforest. #JoCoCruise

When I was stationed in Korea (coincidently during the last time martial law was declared), I used to joke "We're here keeping Korea safe in case a democracy breaks out." What a lousy joke.
