The news presenter on channel 4 just said that Hamas has "unexpectedly" cancelled further hostage releases. Really? "unexpectedly "? It's hard to think of any reaction from Hamas more natural and obvious.

Regarding the new US government -not to be paranoid, but the Nazis in the 1930s only had to look at doctors' files to find Jewish people, which they did, using that old-school data-scraping. I can only suggest, with the greatest of respect, that if you believe this new lot wouldn't do that, well ok

All we as individuals can do now is hope that the fighting in Gaza will end soon. But in passing, its worth pointing out, that comparing Jewish people to Nazis didn't help. Even in terms of scale it's a stupid comparison.
