You can get MHW to look really good, you just need to spend way too much on a PC, run it really hot maxing all the settings out, and be content with it not getting above 45fps

i'm glad I find Monster Hunter Wilds fun, because I played World just to have something to do with friends and I hated the feeling of constantly being behind or having mechanics done for me by veteran players. but also "playing at my own pace" feels weirdly pathetic. so who knows?
