I listen to LBC (UK) a lot and post in annoyance about some (some) of its presenters' (and reporters') attempts to mislead the public.

Be EXTREMELY skeptical of anyone talking about "Judeo-Christian values". That's me being polite. It's another arm of the fascist movement rapidly moving across the West. Ali Miraj would have had his skull cracked open in the 2024 riots, yet here he is cheerleading for Nazi ideals. @lbc.co.uk

“If you're not careful, the newspapers will have you hating the people who are being oppressed, and loving the people who are doing the oppressing.” A classic quote from Malcolm X, who was assassinated 60 years ago today.

This is type of small, functional change that Labour have introduced, which could make a huge difference to millions of lives. It doesn't get more "common sense" than this. news.sky.com/story/domest...

Bingo.

GB News should have been taken off air ages ago. You wonder if someone has been paid off at Ofcom. The CEO's husband is Benedict Brogan, formerly Pol. Ed. at the Telegraph.

Jonathan Sumption really is the antidote to right wing idiocy. For many reasons. Props to Iain Dale for having him on. @iaindale.bsky.social @lbc.co.uk

Brilliant simple clear explainer by @sheridanflynn.bsky.social of the threat Russia poses to Britain youtu.be/M7O4Eh3Roe8?...

So Nigel Farage has chosen to explain away Trump’s outrageous remarks about President Zelensky instead of doing the right thing and condemning them. Deeply disappointing but not at all surprising. He sounds like a spokesman for Trump. He certainly doesn’t speak for Britain.

This will go down as the real end.

QED: Even Ferguson spent a decade sniffing his own farts about "woke ideology". And if HE wasn't grifting, there's a good chance many of the others weren't. They're just either: a) Really thick b) Eaten up inside by so much bitterness, the joined the side where people actually bought their crap

Breaking news: 57 percent of Americans say President Donald Trump has exceeded his authority since taking office for his second term, according to a new Washington Post-Ipsos poll.

I quite like this incarnation of Ed Davey. I would like to think that he's working with Keir Starmer behind the scenes to say the things that Starmer can't. Especially re Trump.

This makes so much sense

The only thing missing from Trump's USA right now is state sponsored murder. China and Russia have been doing it for years. It's only a matter of time.

Dan Hodges is doing what no-one else in the right wing media is doing, which is why I have time for him over any other RW journalist. He's not bought into the Reform hype at all.

Yoko Ono is 92 today. She is also a great artist whose dignity and compassion in the face of more than half a century of unearned disdain, much of it unequivocally racist and/or misogynistic in character, is genuinely astonishing.

Nick Ferrari is an enemy of decency. LBC doesn't care as it makes them money. They would have had a Nazi-adjacent broadcaster in the 1930s if it was financially beneficial. Hell, they DID have a Nazi-adjacent broadcaster up until June 2020, and only got rid of him because he exposed his racism.

For the last few days, Nick @nickferrarilbc.bsky.social has said that he doesn't know what "woke" means. But when interviewing Lisa Nandy just now, he asks if "Dr Who has gone too woke?" Make your mind up toady... @lbc.co.uk

Hahaha if Mary Dejevsky isn't a Russian asset (wittingly or otherwise), then my name is Yevgeny Bazarov. She speaks at events like: "Battle of Ideas" Writes for the Spectator And that's who @nickferrarilbc.bsky.social brings on to talk about Trump's capitulation. @lbc.co.uk

f you want a random snapshot of just how bent the world is: - Nick Ferrari is paid in excess of £1m for spreading misinformation. - An adjudicated rapist is the most powerful leader in the world. - Elon Musk is the wealthiest man in the world.

If you want to know who's compromised, Nick Ferrari is leading on Labour's plan for jobs, rather than Trump's capitulation to Putin.

Putin says Trump must go further before he’ll even agree to meet. Putin is entirely in the driving seat. The US has alienated its own allies, given Russia nearly all of what it wanted, bought Putin’s warped view of reality, and can’t even guarantee a meeting. The art of the deal, indeed.

The official White House account posted this.

Kamala was right. And it only took him less than 30 days to roll over for Putin.
