📚💙 So I had been resisting Dungeon Crawler Carl. I know, I know. This was dumb. I like humorous fantasy, vintage cultural references, and old school RPGs. But somehow I could not see how the game could translate to an enjoyable story? So anyway, I was wrong and it’s awesome.

Watch what people do, and listen to what they say. Be particularly careful of those whose words do not reflect their actions, especially when they are saying things you agree with. Believe the evidence of your own eyes, and not the narrative that challenges it or explains it away. Stand for truth.

Reducing access to psychiatric medications would take away a tool which many of the most vulnerable members of our society rely upon to live healthy and functional lives. Mentally ill people are more likely to be abused, homeless, or have other medical conditions which are poorly controlled.

Some Americans have not spent a sufficient amount of time reading speculative fiction that involves the insidious takeover of authoritarian regimes, and it shows. Watching or reading the news feels like I have stepped into a novel that is so comically obvious it isn’t quite believable.
