Our favorite local news anchor is leaving and they only gave her a grocery store cookie cake and not some awesome coffee mug for her collection????? We'll miss you, Madison.

Frightening to think about who is getting fired and hired as if preparing for something.

Who just bought the Longlegs vinyl soundtrack to get the b-day card? (shhh, it was me.)

That “grow up” scene with Milchick talking to the mirror will haunt me. Give Tramell Tillman every single award. Oh my god he is so so good. #severance

The cybersecurity lead for VA.gov was fired last week. He tells WIRED that the Veterans Affairs digital hub will be more vulnerable without someone in his role.

Now seating for The Monkey.

Finished this great short story collection - How Long ‘Til Black Future Month? by N.K. Jemisin. "Difference was never the problem in and of itself." “It’s sad isn’t it? So many of our leaders are weak, and choose to take power from others rather than build strength in themselves."

Thinking a lot about this book lately. “They are comfortable with deploying strategic racism because popular stereotypes can help move unpopular ideas, including limiting democracy.” - Heather McGhee, The Sum of Us: What Racism Costs Everyone and How We Can Prosper Together.

Dress for the job you want (poltergeist) not the job you have (ghost)

If you say on cameo that the person that you’re ordering for is “easily amused,” this is a taste of what you get.

Btw, the Hayes code which stated that "throughout the presentation, evil and good are never confused and that evil is always recognized clearly as evil” was in full swing when Gone With the Wind premiered, if you wonder how these kind of things turn out.

No, 150-year-olds aren't collecting Social Security benefits. Elon Musk claims to have found rampant fraud; but there's a much simpler explanation.

OK. Let's do Cult of Chucky!

Today’s the last day of post-production for my show, The Terror: Devil in Silver. Five year journey. Amazing array of folks helped make it. A diverse group of people trapped in a place that’s trying to kill them; institutional evil & corruption. Afraid it will be even more relevant in 2025.

I'm Chucky-Rich! At least temporarily thanks to our local library. Alternative to streaming (but maybe a little screaming).

Goddess of Filth by V. Castro was great! “She glowed with fury, beauty, and power… she was everything I wished I could be.”

Needing comfort horror, so time to rewatch Maxxxine.

www.cnbc.com/2025/02/10/g... fuck Google tbh

This was great! Gingerbread by Helen Oyeyemi: “Opposing random negativity with random positivity.” Don't want to give too many spoilers, but I will say it makes you reevaluate family, friendships, & home. And now I need gingerbread!

Wow! That first episode of Paradise was great. Lovin' this show of Sterling K. Brown walking up the stairs.
