The part everyone is missing is that Trump believes that because it's called the Gaza STRIP, it must be like the Vegas Strip! He thinks he can make money off casinos there. It's why he kept bringing up Hannibal Lector: he heard people were seeking "asylum" and he assumed they meant insane asylums.

Yesterday seemed like a great day for a 5-hr drive during which we'd have little cell service. 😉 And now we are IN THE MOUNTAINS! I'm trying hard to ignore the mess we're in and to find joy in life. That might seem selfish, but I'm still feeling so powerless. So, I'm going to be selfish for a while.

I tried Threads. It didn't work for me. The algo that fed my feed didn't make sense. The flow was not like X, FB or Insta, so it felt alien. I rarely saw posts from the people I follow. Bluesky is working EXACTLY the way Twitter used to work before the Space Nazi...without the bigots and trolls. ❤️

I can't help but wonder why Rep. Nancy Mace is so obsessed with other people's genitals. Is she a pervert? Not sure I want to be in the same bathroom as her. I also wonder how she manages to survive long flights, when she might have to use an airplane bathroom that men have used. OH THE HORROR! 😱
