I am turning into an alt text scold because goddamn it, I need everyone to start realizing on a deep level how many people around them are disabled. You're not doing it for nothing. It's hard to get the stats but just in the US, legal blindness affects 8-10 million people.

I was pretty sure that week-long course of strong antibiotics wasn't gonna do the trick but I hoped I'd be wrong. They helped knock it back some (and saved me a trip to a&e), but it's not gone. So now I have more antibiotics, and an 8am visit to the surgical assessment unit on Thursday 😭
