@velshi.bsky.social A WARNING. Want a glimpse of what’s going on behind Trumps eyes? Watch his response to the Gov. of Main @ governors meeting. Reminded me why bulls get slaughtered in bullrings. Like Trump, they wildly charge every provocation. Putin & Xi are terrible but they aren’t unstable.

@mcfaulmike.bsky.social I get the feeling that Trump & Vance are creating a crisis situation to remain in power permanently. Far fetched? What happens to Trump, Vance, Musk and the Trump cabinet in 2028? Blockade the doors & fight it out? Go too far & Trump pardons will not protect them.

He’s presentable & glib but his comment about the court not being a check on the the Executive Branch would pretty well negate much of the function of the judiciary. If don’t like it I’m not doing it.

@kathyhochul.bsky.social If you’re Governor of New York - Re: Mayor Adams. Whatever the merits of the Adams case or your feelings Trump reached into NY to subverted NY justice. If not addressed it will spread. The only real concern is the effect on police & fire. Politics? You signed up for the job.

Being respectful is understandable but photos are powerful & can provide favorable opinions, perhaps divorced from reality. Use current time & place photos, not the ubiquitous photos. Reality please.

@velshi.bsky.social Chutkan made a judicial mistake. No evidence of harm? We have unvetted people rooting around in data that if released would be catastrophic for Americans. Also given their quasi government status likely couldn’t be prosecuted, even if caught. Part of justice is preventing harm.

@arimelber.bsky.social Re: Lawyers willing to fill vacancies created by Trump. Doesn’t sound like a winner for lawyers. First, you know they will be asked to commit questionable legal acts bringing their competence into question. Second, they’ll put their state bar license & livelihood at risk.
