Hypothetically speaking it would be interesting to see an enterprising student on financial aid including student loans & work study test the waters on the ‘equal access’ and ‘equal opportunity’ clauses. Feels a bit riskier than equity & inclusion for a university? 🤷‍♀️

Today in the "back up your ebooks before they're locked beyond your reach" saga: did you know that A LOT of the evil site books are in KFX file format, and that Calibre does not play well with that? For those books, you need to download THE WHOLE ASS FOLDER, not just the single file.

I think what's most interesting to me about #romancelandia (and other) authors using generative AI in their marketing, book art, and/or profile imagery is that they are choosing to loose a large pool of their possible audience right from the start. Cheaper now, but greater loss in the long run.
