I have BEATEN the overwhelm (despite being autistic in cosplay) by having on hand 1) earplugs 2) a foldable hand fan 3) bottled water. The fan is the BEST bc it's a stim that keeps you cool when you're anxious-hot. Try it out!!!

RRR is a Tollywood/Bollywood delight, love the Benoit Blanc detective movies, Paprika is a real mind twister of an anime movie... sadly I haven't seen anything made recently beyond Sonic 3 (which I also loved!) but those are some recommendations!!!
