"duskwight" is already a loaded term, but there is some beauty and reclamation to be found in the way darkness is paired with misfortune (unfortunate people from the dark, a ghost in the night,etc. ) ; using "duskie" is, etymologically, just calling people "darkies." it is racial, and it is gross.
