It’s my Birthday 🀭🌷

I wish you all a happy new year πŸ₯³

And meanwhile: Owen: I'm proud of you, Tori. No tantrums for a few days. That's a big step. Tori: No angry, Daddy. Owen: When you're mad, use your words instead of aggression, okay? Tori: Okay Daddy. Owen: You're doing great baby.

Eleanor: How are you doing? How's the healing process after your mom's passing? Tina: It's getting better but school's tough. Molly and her firends were horrible at lunch. Told me to eat somewhere else. I went to the art room and painted. It really calmed me down. Eleanor: I'm glad it helped.

Later that day Eleanor and Tina played boardgames together.

Eleanor: I'm sure Tina already told you that we've met in the park before. Owen: I guess it's a small world. Tina: How is all this even possible.

Owen: Mrs Robinson, you're here! Eleanor: Please just Eleanor, thank you for offering me a place.

Tina: Why are you here? Why would my dad say you could stay with us? Eleanor: I told you about my husband... after he died, I couldn't afford my apartment anymore. Your dad offered to help. Tina: It's just a bit confusing. Eleanor: I get it. Didn't mean to make things harder.

Tina: Eleanor? What are you doing here? And with a suitcase? Eleanor: Wait.... this is your home? Tina: Uh, yeah. So why are you here? Eleanor: Oh no...I didn't know. Your dad said I could stay here for a while. He didn't mention you. Tina: Well, he didn't tell me either.

When Tina came home after her first day back at school, she froze on the sidewalk: Eleanor, with a suitcase in hand, was walking up to her front door as if she belonged there. Tina's mind raced with questions - why was Eleanor here? And why did it look like she was moving in?

Tina fled to the art rom, her heart pounding and her face burning. She grabbed a canvas and some paints, remembering Eleanor's advice, to pour her bad emotions into her work. As her brush moved across the canvas the hurt and anger started to fade, replaced by a sense of calm.

Tina: Hey, can I sit with you guys? Molly: Oh look who's trying to fit in now. Newsflash Tina: we don't need ome sad, little dropout ruining our vibe! Go eat somewhere else, or bette yet: go cry in a corner like you did the last four weeks.

Sitting in class, Tina felt happy to be back. Having a routine again made everything feel a little more normal. But as the teacher spoke, she realized she didn't understand a word. It was like they were speaking another language.

Ms Prescott: Glad you've decided to show up, Tina. You've got a lot to catch up on. Tina: I'm ready for it. Ms Prescott: We'll see about that.

It was now time to go back to Highschool!

Tina: Sure baby! Tori: Sissy!!!!

Tori: Hug! Hug! Tina: You want a hug?

Tina: It's okay dad. I'll catch up. Owen: You're not upset? Tina: I mean, it sucks. But I've been through worse and a couple of grades don't define me. Owen: That's.... wow..... really mature of you. I'm really proud of you.

Tina: But I was gone for one month? Owen: Apparently they wrote 3 exams in that time and... they won't let you retake them..... I'm so sorry sweetie....

Owen: Okay so before you go... I talked to your principal because of the last 4 weeks that you were missing and she is totally okay with it....... But.... Tina: But what? Owen: You dropped two grades....

Owen: I love seeing you like this. You are glowing! Tina: Thanks dad.

And on another school morning, Tina decided to get out of sweatpants and a hoodie and wore one of her colorful pieces while also wearing her hair open again! Owen: Finally...

Owen: You don't have to fix it, Tina. We'll figure it out..... together. Just please start caring for yourelf..... eat something, wash your beautiful hair... Tina: I'm sorry dad. Owen: You don't hav to apologize, i'm here.

Tina: It's just... everything feels too much. I don't know how to fix it.

Tina: Dad....? Owen: I know...I haven't been the easiest to talk to.

Owen: There she is...

Tina hadn't come home after skipping school, and Owen had a slight idea where she could be.

Tina sat down quietly, her gaze fixed on the woman as she continued to paint. Something about their conversation and about the process pulled her in and gave her a sense of calm she hadn't felt in weeks.

Eleanor: Alright kiddo, I need some quiet to focus on my painting now. Maybe you could try it too someday. Tina: Maybe I will.....

Tina: I don't know if I can. I don't know who I am without her... Eleanor: I get that. But you don't have to know everything right now. Just don't stop caring for yourself. Don't shut people out, even when it feels like too much. You'll need them sooner or later. For me - painting helped.

Tina: I don't know.... I recently lost my mom, and everything feels.... heavy. I don't know how to deal with it. Eleanor: I know that pain. I lost my husband, now I can't even afford my house. It doesn't fully go away, but painting - it lets you put some of it somewhere.

Tina: It's beautiful.... I don't think I could ever do something like that.. Eleanor: You'd be surprised. Sometimes, painting helps with the things you can't say.

Tina: Hmm, who is that?

But Tina skipped school today, unable to face anyone. She ended up at the park, hoping the quiet would drown out the noise in her head.

Owen: If you don't like it, I put a few simoleons in there for the cafeteria... Tina: I said I don't want it!

Owen: I packed you lunch for school. Tina: I'm not hungry! Owen: You didn't eat last night either. Tina: Stop trying to fix everything with food!

That’s it for today. Feels good to be back!

Tori is a storm of emotions - clingy one moment, angry the next. Confused and scared, she doesn't understand why everything has changed, and it makes her lash out. When her mom was still alive, she was the calm presence, the one who no one had to worry about.

Tina was once the happy, colorful girl, full of life and laughter. Now, everything feels dull and heavy. Grief has taken the light from her, and she doesn't know how to find herself again.

How did we get here, Liv? I promised I'd always be enough, take care of our girls but now i'm just falling apart. I'm supposed to be the one who holds everything together, but all I feel is lost. I can't even help our Tina... she's slipping away from me, and I don't know how to get back our girl.
