Albo just made a statement thanking the ADF again, as well as thanking all the Emergency Services for their response and efforts over the last few days of Cyclone Alfred. Meanwhile Dutton gives us an unchallenged lecture on election issues. Obviously only us in SEQ feel the irony. #auspol

Five stars for Virgin Airlines today. Had to return to Brisbane from Canberra three days early due to Cyclone Alfred. Rearranged flight with ease, and no additional cost. Busy flight back, all handled brilliantly by staff. Thank you Virgin Airlines. 🙏

As an outsider looking in, all I see is the dismantling of the US government. Dept’s eradicated, personnel sacked, with the intention surely to stop the functioning of government. To be replaced by what? My guess is another department or person with an ideology that matches the current regime.
