Time of the Signs, the best street sign exhibition in London this weekend, opens tomorrow evening in Atom Gallery.

The London adventure continues. I spent a couple of hours yesterday in the graff tunnel in Leak Street and had a generally lovely time.

the masked cops thing feels very jarring, it is clear and it's scary, but also the masks also feel like just the most obvious demonstration of how police are already a near-total black box into which public information disappears and that's just routine

in Ireland, Supermac’s will sell you 100 sausages in a party bucket

It is good to see that the Greater London Authority are taking the Kaiju threat so seriously! Time of the Signs opens in Atom Gallery this Friday at 6pm!

You’re telling me this guy was on drugs? I’m not buying it.

its crazy how dominant germany was in science (especially chemistry) in the 19th century, it was basically the international language for scientists, people came from all over the world to train at heidelberg etc, and then....

Years ago I read Sacrifice of Fools by @ianmcdonald.bsky.social which in part is about aliens in Belfast and some of them live in Annadale flats. Recently a stork arrived in the green in front of the flats. I went to visit it and for a moment it felt like I was meeting a creature from another world.

Here I am talking about the exhibition 'Time of the Signs' that I am curating. The show opens next Friday the 6th in Atom Gallery in Hackney/ Stoke Newington in London and it is going to be the best artist made street sign exhibition the world has ever seen!

fucking hell

if you went back in time and told Hermann Göring what the US government was doing, he would become so aroused that he would immediately black out from the loss of blood flow

Amazing new discovery: Oldest full human fingerprint discovered. A Neanderthal is believed to have dipped a finger in red pigment to paint a nose on a pebble around 43,000 years ago. The rock was discovered in the San Lázaro rock shelter in Segovia, Spain www.bbc.com/news/article...

I realize posting this here is preaching to the choir. But after the Grok White Genocide thing & Ye essentially launching an exclusive Neo Nazi single on the platform... I felt motivated to write about X and how bizarre it is that so many people (news outlets, celebrities, politicians) use it

Genius move by Irish State to massage the data on water quality by de-listing hundreds of rivers and waterways and re-categorising them as “heavily modified water bodies”, i.e. no need to even consider restoring them. Brilliant! www.independent.ie/irish-news/p...

Attending a billionaire’s party, Kurt Vonnegut pointed out to his buddy Joseph Heller that their host made more in a day than Heller’s hit book Catch-22 would ever earn. “True,” said Heller, “but I have one thing he never will: A massive golden hippo statue that comes to life and kills my enemies.”

Considering the charges being brought against Mo Chara from Kneecap it is heartening (if not a little surprising) to see Belfast City Council take such a radical stance on this matter.

I fucking love Stevie Nicks for this

Yesterday I ticked off a street art bucket list by painting the Craic is Not Wack on one of Belfast's many 'peace' walls. The sheer size of these walls doesn't come across in the photos but they are terrifyingly massive and very real barriers to peace.

It’s Mary Anning’s birthday, so time to share @katebeaton.bsky.social’s brilliant cartoon again.

"The first act of violence that patriarchy demands of males is not violence toward women. Instead patriarchy demands of all males that they engage in acts of psychic self-mutilation, that they kill off the emotional parts of themselves." — bell hooks

My Belfast Pop mural is finally finished and I bloody love it. There are a lot of Easter eggs in this bit of street art so if you can go and check it out yourself in the real world. Massive thanks to @dctoursbelfast.bsky.social for the commission.

Sinners is a romp of a film! Go see it before it leaves the cinema.
