Totally forgot to post this Audible 2024 recap. The last slide…thank you for confirming.

A final look at my 2024 reads Here are my top 10 in alphabetical order: Bloom Town Here We Go Again Hot Honey Love House of Crimson Hearts Informed Consent Loser of the Year Reverence Ribbonwood Tempting Olivia View from the Top *this list doesn’t include rereads Happy New Year!

What an incredible way to end the year reading. The banter alone between the MCs was five stars - add in the storyline and spice, and I couldn’t read this book fast enough. From the prologue to the final page, I was so absorbed in this story. Just fantastic @rubylanders.bsky.social

A heartfelt holiday story that blends American and German traditions. Both MCs were great, & although it wasn’t a rich-poor trope, that wealthy factor added another layer. Also, pretty low-angst which I very much enjoyed. PS- I saw what you did there with the Lee Winters nod @zgrokit.bsky.social

I hope everyone who celebrates had a great Thanksgiving. I’m thankful for all of my fellow #sapphic reading followers and friends who have allowed me to share my thoughts and love of reading with you 🩵 #lesfic #wlwbooks #sapphicbooks #lesbianbooks #bookreviewer #bookrec

The long-awaited Sapphic Book Advent Calendar has started! You can now open the first door on my website: jae-fiction.com/sapphic-book... A big thank-you to the 90 fellow authors who are participating and donating free books, books for giveaways, or putting their books on sale! ❤

Okay so I struggled liking Emma for the first like 1/3 of this book. Regan is such a likable character I wanted to protect her. Later in the book things do become more clear from Emma’s pov. Loved the Charlotte incorporation (and Sutton) and nods to Those Who Wait. Super glad I reread it first.

I wanted to kick 2024 off with a bang and figured what better way to do that than with a @rachelslacey.bsky.social book, and I was so right. This celebrity/bodyguard romance was exactly what I was hoping for. From the attraction to the vulnerability to the suspense, I could not put it down.

Loved having a lot of time off so I could read all 13 of these books to finish off December strong. Didn’t end up making my goal, but if you would’ve told me a couple years ago that I’d be reading over 80 books a year I wouldn’t have believed you. Now I don’t know what I’d do without it.

Intoxicating. Infuriating. Intense. Incredible. What a final ride. My emotions went from one extreme to the other and everything in between. Words to write a review aren’t properly wording after finishing it. All I can say is read this series by @jenlyonauthor.bsky.social, it’s everything.

You know how much you like a book when you just about fall asleep reading and pick it back up the moment you’re awake. This slow burn, age gap romance was just that read. From the art details to the MCs chemistry to the slight suspense, it was absolutely incredible.

Goodness…this book by @morganleemiller.bsky.social made me an emotional wreck and I loved every minute of it. From sadness to anger to heartbreak to happiness. It broke me and put me back together again. By no means is this a light read, but I also wouldn’t have wanted it any other way.

It’s probably no surprise at this point that I love sapphic celebrity romances. When I saw this one by @nancampbellwrites.bsky.social, I was thrilled. The story has you peeling back many layers of each MC. I read this book in a day and enjoyed their story, even when they were being difficult.

The final line of this book summed it up perfectly for me and Lexie. The cliffhangers. @zgrokit.bsky.social’s creativity never ceases to amaze me. Can’t say much without giving a lot away, so I’ll leave it at pick this up on 11/16. No idea how I’ll wait until May for Loyalty but wish me luck.

This book takes the cake for a friends to lovers romance. The love the MCs had for each other as friends and then lovers couldn’t have been more perfectly done. @authorhaleycass.bsky.social’s writing absorbs you in where you lose track of everything other than what’s on the page. Truly incredible.

Unlike any book I’ve read in a long while. From the short sentences to the inner thoughts that scattered. I had to focus more than a traditional sapphic book because there were no quotes when the characters were talking. Very different, but I enjoyed this read.

Hit a wide variety of tropes and themes in September and enjoyed all of them 😍

Introduce yourself with some jobs you’ve done apart from the one you do now: - social media manager - radio station promotions director - marketing manager - photography associate - receptionist

This second chance romance was the perfect relaxation read. I loved how it was centered around their roadtrip and how detailed that was. The flashbacks were really well done, and I have to mention the spice🌶️🌶️. Grab it today for its release day!

The tension. The chemistry. The passion. Wow wow wow. I already knew I’d like this book, one being @thejjarias.bsky.social and the other being a celebrity romance, but I was completely blown away and have been trying to cure the book hangover ever since. Run, don’t walk to pick this one up Sept. 28!

End of summer stack 📚

The uneven amount of books is bothering me but here are my August reads 📚

This is a cute twin swap, fake wedding novel that includes two adorable alpacas. The description interested me as I was intrigued to see how the twin swap would pan out and enjoyed the way it was done. There wasn’t too much angst but just enough for the storyline.

Hi! I'm April. If I'm being honest, I used to dislike reading. Then my wife recommended a #lesfic book & I haven't been able to put them down since. I try to bring others to the joys of what I read and the incredible authors. In short, I'm a marketing director by day and reviewer by night. Our kids:
