I had a brief unemployment stint where I taught myself #Blender and was trying to learn #UnrealEngine. I had a basic understanding and decided I was going to build out an uncanny Late Night Talk show horror game concept with simple dialogue selection & movement as the only real mechanics.

We all understand that a non-vote is a net zero right? It wasn't "a vote for Trump" in the same way it wasn't "a vote for Kamala". It is the obligation of candidates to adequately represent their constituents. If they don't, they are not entitled to a vote. Lost votes are a failure of the campaign.

There's an endless deluge of "How Tariffs Work" articles, but none that deal with the reality of living in border cities. I have a lot of questions about how travelling in and out of Canada works now, and there's no answers. Does it only apply to mass trade and not individual purchases made?

I have a lot of qualms with elected Dems and their philosophies, but I think my greatest qualm bar none is their refusal to stoke flames or leverage their base in any way. There's nobody at the helm, nobody at the wheel, and they're shocked when people like Bernie become defacto populist leaders.

I've been overwhelmingly anxious following the shock and awe of the first 2 weeks, but I was finally starting to feel okay the past few days. This is officially sending me back into a freefall though. I know there's little to nothing I can do about it but... Hoo boy.

Constantly plugged into everything that's going on and it's emotionally and mentally exhausting, I'm sure by design. But my silver lining that's keeping me going right now is that #LikeaDragon Pirate in Hawaii looks absolutely stellar. My wife and I are so incredibly jazzed for it.

There's... A lot going on, but @wesjohnson.bsky.social 's health issues hit in a particularly emotional way despite never having met him. Everything I've seen from and about him makes it seem like he's genuinely just such a friendly and good natured man who loves what he does. Hoping for the best.
