Trump ignores orders. NYC should do the same.

I have myself on a self imposed "DO NOT FLY" list. Join me won't you?

Trump intends to revive the long-dead Keystone XL pipeline, which would travel between Canada and Virginia carrying upwards of 830,000 barrels per day of oil into the United States. Ask yourself, why is the oil going to Virginia? Will it be refined in Virginia? Or will it be shipped overseas?

No sitting Congressman is able to identify the fraud is in the Medicaid system because Big Pharma, the insurance co.s, hospitals, the doctors are all telling them to look elsewhere for the solution. Bypass everybody in the list and pay the doctor for the healthcare and the chance for fraud drops.

Not owning a car offers new adventures and lessons. Today's lesson was that it is entirely possible to purchase a new (mini) freezer and get it home relying on a rolling cart and the #ion :)

Just once why can’t a billionaire try to feed the poor or house the homeless instead of trying whatever this is, though this is better than dismantling democracy. www.forbes.com/sites/amyfel...

Looking for examples of Vancouver's "neighbourhood grocery store" zoning causing trouble. Like when the Marché St. George nearly got shut down for being too much of a cafe www.cbc.ca/news/canada/...

Even I cannot recall the number of Lexington sites owned by faith-based organizations I mentioned in FB previous posts. Suffice it to say that Lexington FBOs are being resistant to this opportunity and pressing need of the city. I wish some one could explain it to me. www.cnu.org/publicsquare...

Most likely explanation is that the militia wing of the President's supporters, whom the President praised and pardoned for previous attacks on democracy, harassed citizens seeking to express dissent. This is the story of many authoritarian states - is it the American story now?

Why does the NRA stand up for you owning a gun? So that when DOGE comes with firings for you, you can fire back. When DOGE comes for your livelihood, you can fire back. When DOGE comes for your healthcare, you can fire back. Don't miss.

The Secretary of Defense goes on tv to explain he is preparing to have the military break the law.

This is my old city journalist brain firing but I believe that the USA way of isolating everybody into unwalkable suburbia, requiring private cars for existence, & removing true public space has had a disastrous effect on the US's sense of community & empathy and we must, but won't, deal with that

Congrats, NC You played yourselves "The Trump administration has abruptly cut off tens of millions of dollars in federal grants that North Carolina public schools have been using to recruit and retain teachers." www.newsobserver.com/news/local/e...

It did not take long for Duffy to prove just how unqualified he is for the job.

Kentucky's tourism season is right around the corner and I wouldn't blame Canadians if they just stayed home. Forget the horse farm tours. Forget Keeneland. Forget the Bourbon Trail. Don't forget to let then know WHY you did not come this year. Let them know where you did spend your money.

Kentuckians believe snow removal is better in the more northern climes, like Canada.

With all the slashing of the Federal workforce by the DOGE minions, is there an accounting for the DEI makeup of those let go? were they predominately black and female? Were they mostly Democrats? Anecdotally we are hearing from a lot of real surprised Trump voters who weren't expecting this.

This cause is close to my heart - please sign: sign.moveon.org/petitions/te...

The interior of a government car is public space since, as a taxpayer, I own the car, in part, and it is in a public space. Should I try that with a police car? A fire truck?

2018 was not only the beginning of the end for combustion engine cars . . . but perhaps also a turning point for the total number of cars. Now, when will #Canada and the #USA start building first-class interurban public #transit? #climate

Because the tower at Reagan International was not understaffed enough already.

Trump and Putin meeting to “negotiate peace” on anything should be seen for what it is — two criminals discussing how to split the loot.

If you wanted to cut waste, fraud, and abuse, you would empower the inspectors general. If you wanted more waste, fraud, and abuse, you would fire them.

How much government waste was involved in the useless flyover of Air Force 1 or the two trips of the heavily armored "Beast" limo at Daytona 500 today?

I am kind of sad we don't have a local Tesla showroom. We need a focus for our protest.

This is necessary in the world today. Please make the change.

Reason #384 why car ownership sucks: clearing my driveway consumed almost my entire day today.

Anyone remember when you had to worry about Wikipedia's accuracy and you could trust Google's? Those days are gone.

A new paper from researchers at Microsoft and Carnegie Mellon University finds that as humans increasingly rely on generative AI in their work, they use less critical thinking, which can “result in the deterioration of cognitive faculties that ought to be preserved.” www.404media.co/microsoft-st...
