Former electrician but currently (no pun) and permanently done with that. I read books, buy cheap guitars and tend the cat herd sometimes. I love a woman we’ll call Ms.A. Not really interested in personal chats. Seriously. Really, I am NOT interested.

The Honeydrippers, 1973.

Murdered by the KKK, slandered by the FBI. Yesterday was the 100th anniversary of an American hero.

#ResistanceRoots Civil rights activist Viola Liuzzo was born on this day in 1925 in California, Penn. Liuzzo traveled to Alabama in March 1965 to support the Selma to Montgomery march for voting rights. She was shot and killed by KKK members on March 25, 1965. /1

Exactly!

Art finds a way...

Voters are so damn inconvenient.

"John Roberts and his Supreme Court are no better than the cops in Uvalde, cowering outside and waiting for the shooting to stop, instead of doing their job and trying to save lives."

Truth in advertising: our grandson plays guitar in Strawberry Farm. Also true: they are big fun.

Pretty much.

“...their parents and grandparents had that life because of unions, pensions, high marginal tax rates, and strong social policies — with a little post-war exceptionalism and a lot of racism and sexism thrown in."

They’re going to keep pushing until something stops them.

Roberts Court legacy sinks farther down the toilet.

Paraphrasing a sign seen at last Saturdays’ Hands Off rally in Oakland: “If we actually eat just one billionaire, the rest will probably get the message!” The graphics were squeamishly delightful!

Someone said: "Once belief takes hold, facts become noise." They were correct.

That’s right. That’s what the man said. Now, anyone who dissents, who speaks out against MAGAism, can become an “administrative error” and be disappeared to El Salvador or wherever. Your citizenship and “Real ID” won’t save you. Even (gasp!) your skin color won’t save you.
