Ideas, famously, are completely interchangeable. One idea is the same amount of idea as any other idea and we already have enough ideas so therefore we don't need anymore ideas now.

Yup

Hard to know who's to blame exactly, but Football Manager 25 getting cancelled really isn't a good look for Unity. Port your golden-goose franchise to Unity! It's easier than you think! *mushroom cloud rises in background*

In America, "Football Manager is a popular game" counts as a left-field take.

The game has been out for one day (officially minus five days) and the "Civ 7 is bad" consensus is forming remarkably quickly.

I hate to say it but it was obvious a long way off that Civ 7 was going to be bad. Reviewers are clearly trying their best to give it the benefit of the doubt but I think it'll very quickly come to be seen as a disaster.

Spider-Man 2 really shows the extent to which PC is still an afterthought for Sony. At some point they must have realised the game was not going to be ready by Jan 30 and just decided to release it busted and pull all marketing in the hope that it wouldn't cause too much of a fuss.

So I guess the semiconductor industry somehow survived the DeepSeek news that had already been public knowledge for a week before everyone started freaking out about it on Monday?

Boohoo for OpenAI but this would mean that DeepSeek is parasitic on thier previous training costs which casts doubt on the idea that there's been any major breakthrough here at all.

Giving some CoD Blops 6 a whirl and good lord the CoD launcher situation is *comically* bad. We all like to complain about bad launchers but this is the final boss of bad launchers, a launcher seemingly designed to discredit the entire concept of launchers once and for all.
