ohh no way! me too! I wrote a bit for star wars back in the day, and rogue one when it came out. was a teeny bit obsessed with cassian andor and then I loved the show andor. not sure I'm ready for it to end when season 2 comes out

ah yes your love of sci-fi :D that must help!

it's also worth mentioning that if you're not big into the star wars universe or don't know all the terms/jargon, the author explains it as they go in the end notes, which is cool.

thanks! and I feel you on the punctuation. I think that would bother me too haha
comment in response to post
yess very much so! it's set in the star wars universe. yoongi is a jedi and jungkook is a smuggler. maybe I should have led with that 😅

I know this isn't probably what you set out to talk about, but I've been seeing mentions of Ellipsus over my timeline and am curious. I'm assuming it's a writing tool? how are you finding it compared to other things like google docs etc?

ohh interesting! yeah I suppose some tropes are more popular than others and you notice variance between different fandoms. also ... I've been there. I'm sure if you did write spies married for the mission, no one would complain!

this has to be one my favourite replies so far 😭 and totally valid too!
comment in response to post
that's valid. I'm personally a fan of enemies to lovers stories but where the "enemy" part can spawn from miscommunication, or attraction disguised as dislike. maybe enemies to lovers is a bit of a misnomer!

exciting!! good luck with the writing

the angst is cathartic if they end up happy, if not I've just had my soul torn out of my body and I can't handle it haha
comment in response to post
good question! for me I'd have to say anything with heavy angst, a non-happy ending or mpreg. just not my cup of tea!
comment in response to post
ugh that sounds incredible. with some olive oil drizzled over it too

happy birthday!!

I love all of those tropes too!! it explains why I loved beware of dog so much

the confident/shy scenario is great! a lot of fun to play with.

modern day vampires are great! especially if the fic writer presents a scenario in which they've learned to cohabit with people. like feeding banks where people volunteer to be fed on. I read a great fic about that

I think exarite got me onto the jeon jungkook cries during sex tag (if you know the fic writer, predominantly yoonkook). before then I had NO idea but now... I am enlightened

I think I discovered sub/bottom Jungkook back in 2018 and it was like a lightbulb going off in my brain, lol. haven't looked back since!

who doesn't love a good yandere, to be honest!

no problem, thank you for sharing!

no judgement here! I wrote a fic with cheating in it some years ago. I didn't set out to write cheating but it turned out that way. the drama is unmatched
comment in response to post
yes, please!

interesting, I haven't really read any fics with twins in them! I'm with you on the age gap thing!
comment in response to post
enemies to lovers is probably my fave trope of all time :D I agree, the forced proximity is 10/10
comment in response to post
I don't see outsider POV written all that often, but I agree, it's fun to read! (on that note if you had any fic recs, please do send them my way)
comment in response to post
for sure!! I think abo is really interesting for exploring societal dynamics in general
comment in response to post
yess both are really sweet in their own way for sure
