It’s bad enough that we have to pay politicians while they’re in office taxing, spending and regulating everyone else to death or destitution. We shouldn’t have to keep paying after they’re gone. Let them invest in private pensions or get real jobs. #cdnpoli

As free people, we have the moral right to defend ourselves against those who mean to harm us, from criminals to tyrants to invaders. If we had a free country, we would have the constitutional right to keep and bear arms to that end, even if politicians don’t like it. #cdnpoli

The only ‘retaliation’ to foreign tariffs is cutting (or, better yet, gutting) domestic taxes on incomes, imports, profits and everything else. We win by limiting the government, freeing the market and growing the economy, not taxing, spending and regulating even more. #cdnpoli

In 2022, rather than recognize the right of people to govern their own bodies, the government illegally assumed ‘emergency powers’ to better suppress those who dared insist on liberty. Abolish ‘emergency powers’ and treat politicians who violate rights as criminals. #cdnpoli

Tariffs are taxes, too. We can’t stop Trump from raising taxes on Americans. We can, however, refuse to steal any more from Canadians. Gut taxes and regulations — including tariffs — super-charge our economy, ‘retaliate’ by out-pacing their growth and leave NATO. #cdnpoli

There’s no moral difference between forcing your neighbour to pay your bills (or someone else’s bills) at gun-point and asking ‘the government’ to point the gun on your behalf. Stop taxing, regulating and inflating people into poverty and let civil society flourish. #cdnpoli
