If my disabilities could stop disabling me that'd be great

Time to check out our Luke's library refurb 😍 pics to follow

It is likely that I will be able to go to igelu again this year 🥳 ITALY BABYYYY

I think using the plagiarising pollution machine for, say, lesson planning or email writing because it's convenient and saves time, should be treated the same way as just dumping all of your rubbish into the street because it's quicker than having to use a bin.

Interlibrary loan woes. When the metadata from the community zone is sparse, wrong, and/or unhinged. If you know you know.

Taken a Friday off work to go charity shopping in Teignmouth with an old colleague 🥰

Reasons it's okay to have a bit of a moan on social media - lovely people you met at conferences might send you things 😍 thank you so much! @manuschwendener.ch In honour of my rendition of Poor Unfortunate Souls at IGeLU karaoke 🎤

Why, WHY, does making something a numbered list change the font?! WHAT.

2024 was a year of realising I've been living with undiagnosed ADHD my whole life, prising myself free of anti-depressants, 8 weeks total signed off, a couple of phased returns (bleeding into Jan 2025). It's been really rough but hopefully things will be clearer going forwards. Baby steps!

This is a bit mopey but anyone else out there found their career go nowhere due to chronic health problems? I get sad when I see the term early career librarian because I have been doing this for nearly 8 years, even got the qualification, only to feel stuck at the bottom?

🤣 Gill's on the rob #gbbo

I just want to post my thoughts when I'm at Library events, is this the place to do it? Is this the place I can be my unhinged ADHD librarian self??
