For the record, no one paid me even a penny to stand in the wind and rain in Herkimer April 5. No one paid me anything at all to hold my “No Kings” sign at Fort Stanwix in Rome April 19. I AM what democracy looks like.

I have called my congresswoman to ask her to prepare for homeless seniors, some in wheelchairs, made homeless by social security cuts and Medicaid cuts. Oh and they won’t be able to do online SSA business with help from kind clerks at the library because the library, defunded, will close.

I don’t think the Kona strip on Hawai’i’s Big Island is able to produce coffee enough for me much less for the entire United States. Importing coffee without tariffs won’t impact those central New York coffee growers.
