The Ghibli thing is particularly egregious because the reason you love Miyazaki movies is that they’re unabashedly human. He admits to not even knowing what it all means, he is just putting thoughts and feelings of the human experience on the screen and letting people relate.

Very close to giving up twitter altogether. Feels like every week the landscape gets more post apocalyptic there. Just overrun by vulgar engagement farming and bot accounts and the few actual people still left in this wasteland quote retweeting and arguing with them. It’s fucking bleak
