Another artist proof painted - size of a regular magic card, as usual. I learned an important lesson about the gamut limitations of screens - the big middle frill on her skirt has the kind of teal that really pops in person and no matter what I do, the digital representation isn't as bright. Weh.

An old piece but a good one: 'Neverlost Keep' in the Numenera setting was my idea of the most impregnable fortress I could come up with. It also has a bit of Scrooge McDuck Vault DNA in it, because essentially this place happily takes refugees but always charges them for it. #numenera #rpgart

The helicopter damselfly (Microstigma rotundatum) from the South American tropics is extremely skittish but is not a fast flier. Wait, so how does it hunt its prey? 🤔 Easy. It feeds on orb-weaver spiders that it blissfully plucks directly from their web. Now how cool is that!
