John Lithgow is saying the reason he said yes to starring as Dumbledore is coz he reckons it's his last major role and will take eight years to complete. Has anyone explained to him that instead of that he could make three really good films in that time? Films for adults that aren't made by bigots?

One of the things I've found so positive about the younger generation is their attitudes to gender and sexuality. It's seemed healthy and honestly inspiring. And a group of miserable busybodies has utterly demonised it. It's fucked.
