Wasn't there an animated series in there for a minute?

It's really quite impressive how much worse the new version is. Genuinely sucked all the charm and character out of the original in pursuit of hovering breasts, weird back-arching, and baffling shading. This is a remarkable achievement in bland pornified mediocrity. 0/10, Never cook again.

So you're cool with the government just deciding people aren't legally in the country, even if they had visas.
Like, you're good with the government getting to just. Take legal status back. On a whim.

No. No, they aren't.
They know exactly what they're doing and they always have. The hypocrisy isn't something they missed in good faith... it's the whole point.
They want to ostracize us. They'll claim to believe anything they have to to make that happen, logical or not.

Be the change you want to see. Start offering it to everyone until the stigma goes away.

It really illustrates how this all works--they're hoping you'll be so disgusted by the caricature they paint of our lives that you won't mind sacrificing your own

I get that you're trying to avoid tarring Alan Turing with the brush of child rapists, but the people writing laws against my existence right now are using "protect the children" as an excuse. We're not caling Turing a pedo... They're calling us ALL pedos.

Meanwhile the press acts as if theres an epidemic of people being instantly handed gender affirming care.

When I first spoke to my doctor about being refered to a gender clinic, she said 'maybe wait a while and think on it, this has come along suddenly'
Which left me to wait another month before being put on a 2 year waitlist for an appointment solely to discuss and make sense of it.

You make them fight to get the first appointment, you make them convinced that therapist over 6 months or a year, to finally get the pills, and then they're just supposed to stop, admit they were wrong?
Have you met a fucking teenager?

But if they can just say 'hey, I'm not entirely certain about some of this, can I get some puberty blockers?' and you just give it to them, without them having a fight for, and a year later they changed their mind, it's not a big deal.

This is what I have tried to make clear to people I talk to who are worried about 'detrans' kids: the harder the gatekeeping to get in, the less likely they are to walk out if it is not for them. Teenagers never fucking admit they're wrong, and if they have to fight you for years to get something...

Gatekept medical systems create a specific type of brainworm that goes "If I hesitate about any transition procedure at all that might mean I'm not trans enough for any of them."
That is a problem, especially with institutional "we don't treat nonbinary people" practices added to that.

Service A benefits from not dangling service B as a "reward" for giving the "right" answers.
Service B is a bodily autonomy right that cannot depend on fitting the "correct" mold psychologically
