Farmlife means processing vegetables as soon as possible after harvesting. Today I’m making and using passata, using the last of the spring cabbages in soup, and processing 49 eggplants any which way I can - roasting, vacuum packing, freezing, and in pasta alla Norma. And I’m making a big MESS.
