“Guys, what if we make a law against doing crime-y stuff?”

I’m one month in. This thing is massive, I lose my place in it constantly, and I’ve written the same 30 minute task 31 times.

My husband’s Roman Empire is the dang Pop Tart Bowl where they put a Pop Tart mascot in a toaster and another mascot eats it (?) which is the most Roman Empire thing I’ve ever heard.

The fact that Disney bought Star Wars and bought the Muppets and haven’t done a Muppets Star Wars is a crime.

Home project math is that one trip to Lowe’s is actually three trips.

We need to popularize hockey more because I’m tired of getting online suggestions to buy my kid’s hockey stuff online or at Canadian Tire.

I knew this app was for me when I kept reading posts about Trader Joe’s. Like every user here has a thing for their vibes and limited edition snacks.

It’s important to point out here, just for, you know, accuracy - that no tax cut in the history of taxes has ever cost nothing, let alone “pay for itself”. www.nytimes.com/2024/11/23/u...

I want to wait to see Wicked - not because of crowds but because the never grow up “theater kids” plan to spend the whole time singing along.

Wanting to follow official content from my alma mater but the best I could find was the history dept feels emblematic of this entire app. We’re not all here, we might not ever be, but obviously the history nerds are first. (The lovable ones, not the problematic ones. I’m very liberal with blocks)

I just got my 2025 planner - a colorful, spiralbound, heavy beast from @plumpaper and I’m so so ready for her to become officially part of the family in a few months.

It’s son number 2’s birthday and I unintentionally wore the same maternity shirt today that I wore 6 years ago the day he was born. Follow me for more fashion content. Still. Six years with this guy. ❤️

Man age creeps up on you. You go your whole life barely noticing trees in any kind of special way, then you’re middle aged and you have a tree that you are WORRIED ABOUT.

It’s basically been Tuesday for four days and I’m just 1 glass of wine away from girl math rationalizing a weird purchase like…just a bunch of bird feeders. Finding joy where I can in this season - if that means attracting and naming birds and the squirrels that eat their food - it is what it is.

Always in it for some muppet content.

I admonish myself almost daily to focus and do a job. “Do a job, will you?!” I am my own Leo McGarry this week.

I think what I’ll miss most about the Other Place was one account that posted seasonally relevant or passive aggressive commentary on the state of the world through quotes from The West Wing.

The Newsies soundtrack is the car line jam this morning and “nothing can break us and nothing can make us quit before we’re done” is just a little bit too loaded for me this morning.

Our oldest tradition is him putting my unhinged comments on the internet.
