We just got home from my 23rd film in cinemas this year (whew, it's been a busy one)—The Last Showgirl 💃 A very different vibe to the previous two films (I'm Still Here and Captain America: Brave New World) with some really interesting facets; can't wait to discuss all of them on the podcast!

I gave up on this getting a Danish release and watched on the small screen. It’s constantly in the shadow of Cronenberg, of course, and while the start of the yagé scene is quite balletic, it ended up reminding me of the Rubber Johnny short Chris Cunningham made with Aphex Twin
