The entire family has been ill the past two weeks. We've been doing it asynchronously - first the son, then the daughter, then the wife, then me. Now the daughter is ill again. Here's hoping we can abort the Promise of the next one getting ill so the family can have its energy back.

Something has been locked up in your fridge in You're a dad. It's a big eye. Why is it there? Will it eat your family? Do big eyes have teeth? Does it fit in a ball? Good questions. #screenshotsaturday Illustration by @sprainedtootsie.bsky.social, who is giving the game a fantastic art overhaul.

A new demo version for You're a dad is out! Really happy with how the game is coming together. Also exciting news, @sprainedtootsie.bsky.social is working on illustrations! Looking forward to share more. store.steampowered.com/news/app/316... #indiegame #gamedev

Life has been intense the past weeks, so I haven't had much time to work on You're a dad. Still! Happy to say that I'm exploring a change of art direction. Hired some artists for test illustrations, and began brushing up my own skills as a fallback. Hope to commit to a direction next week.

Skippity Rock is a #hyper-casual mobile #game where you try to skip a rock from platform to platform to gain the highest score while collecting stars to shop with. If you miss the platform, your rock will sink and you’ll have to start over. It’s relaxing, and more importantly a lot of fun.

Wood glue is the finest substance known to mankind. It's just amazing.

I've played this - highly recommend it! It will scratch your nostalgic retro itch.

When you experience things that feel off in my text adventure the UI starts to crack and fall apart. When you've experienced enough of this dissonance you can unlock one of the more detailed endings that explain why things are the way they are. #screenshotsaturday #textadventure #visualnovel

Hello! Pinned post incoming! I'm Linus. I'm making You're a dad, a narratively driven text adventure about... life as a dad. It's silly, it's serious, and it's based on my own experience. Demo is available. It's my first game and I want all your feedback: store.steampowered.com/app/3160540/...

Ok let's highlight many narrative / story-driven games! ✨ If you're involved in making a game in which the narrative has a strong impact in any way, this kit is for you! Leave a comment to be added! Any repost are welcomed! #indiegame #gamedev #narrativegame go.bsky.app/4xhRuC4

Had the pleasure to see this demo at a show & tell recently, and it's fantastic. Amazing party game.

I’m just here to chew gum and make text adventures that hide traumatic experiences behind silly humour and I’m all out of gum

Billy Basso said somewhere that he built the puzzles in Animal Well in layers. Some are for the casual players, some for the more advanced. I took some inspiration and decided to integrate a more advanced(-ish) #puzzle. This keypad should be fairly hard to open. #textadventure #indiegame

Experimenting with player rewards and narratives in my text adventure. The player goes through endings, and I want each ending to feel valuable. It should unravel a bit about a story arc or just provide reactivity for the next playthrough. Is the reactivity clear with the text highlight here?

@gameengines.bsky.social I would like Godot Pixijs and Three.js please!

Another day, another starter pack - the Game Dev Field Guide community! This one will be wild. We've got people from all over the dev landscape - artists, coders, composers, solo devs... hobbyists and old pros, all hanging out & sharing their passions and insights on games 💜 go.bsky.app/Aydg7NB
