It's 31 years since Pulp released His 'N' Hers! It was their breakthrough album — and some, myself included, would call it their best. What's your favourite track from the record? (Mine is 'Lipgloss', but I do also have a soft spot for 'David's Last Summer'...)

Happy Birthday His 'N' Hers. 🤍 Bought you on cassette the day you came out and took you everywhere I went. A few years later I gave you to a girl and replaced you on CD. That’s my story and (probably) my favourite Pulp album .

Spike Island — Pulp's first new single since 2013 — is now available on streaming services! And it sounds amazing!!!!!

Welcome back Pulp! The new MOJO has the first @welovepulp.bsky.social interview in 23 years, and a CD of unreleased Pulp music picked by the band. Plus, Pink Floyd, Nick Drake, Sparks, Alison Krauss, Smokey Robinson, Billy Nomates, David Johansen, Hüsker Dü and more! ORDER YOUR COPY HERE:

So there we have it. The news hath broke. @welovepulp are to release a new LP in June. I do hope you are excited. I, for one, am.

In fact, 'Grown Ups' dates back all the way to the This Is Hardcore sessions!

The album artwork and tracklisting have also appeared on Pulp's Rough Trade Records website! Courtesy of Will Newlands. All the 'new' songs are included, plus 'Grown Ups' - revived from 2013 - and 'Slow Jam', a Jarv Is track. And there are two more too!

Pulp's first album since 2001 may be upon us! From Safeway to Tesco, we're up to the gunnels with excitement. All eyes turn, this Saturday, to The Jonathan Ross Show — appropriately, where the band last appeared on telly, back in 2013. All this waiting — have we finally made it?

A press release briefly appeared on Pulp's website earlier today seemingly confirming a new album is coming, that it's entitled 'More', and that it contains — among other things — some older material as well as backing vocals from "the Eno family". "No AI was involved during the process."

My deep dive through my blog has resurfaced some gems

Today, two years since we all lost Steve. Rest in peace.

Well, funny you should say that. I start recording it Monday. Finally. When’s it out you say ..? No idea.

Hope everyone got the tickets they desired! I'm going to Glasgow on the 7th and London on the 14th. If you didn't manage it — don't despair, there's still Friday's general sale to come...

The next issue of @adamlaforet.bsky.social's "Hardcore" fanzine is out now! hardcorezine.com/hardcore/eng...

Stopped by the ‘For Your Pleasure’ exhibition at Liverpool’s Open Eye Gallery to admire these Donald Milne portraits. I can’t tell whether I admire Jarvis’ pose, his shirt fabric or the carpet pattern the most. They’re on display until 9 March.

Hello my loves. Hope everyone got what they wanted in the Pulp presale! There are still some Dublin standing tickets up for grabs... (you'll need the presale code) www.ticketmaster.ie/artist/74724...

Sad to hear of the passing of Marianne Faithfull at 78. A legend of British pop: here's her collaboration with Jarvis Cocker, give it a listen! www.youtube.com/watch?v=vNkssd72C80

I spy a chance... to change the world... Pulp will soon be onstage in Tokyo! First gig of 2025... hopefully many more to come! Have a lovely time, everyone - will have keen eyes on the setlist...

2024 is over. Bye bye.

One year ago today, we were at the Pulp gig in Edinburgh; the only one I could walk to... what a hell of a show it was... (I still can't believe we got LIPGLOSS! My favourite!) Thank you Pulp. 'Twas a dream come true. Happy new year, everyone. 🍻 Stay alive in '25!

So, it’s almost farewell and adieu to 2024 it was quite the ride wannit? Believe me you are going to love what’s in store form’25. Trust me.

Jimmy Carter dead at 100. Fun fact: he was the incumbent US president when Pulp was established in 1978!
