Yes, it's scary out there. So it's okay if you need to hide under the table a while longer. When you're ready, put on your armour and we'll go outside. Together, we'll tame dragons and roll the billionaires for their lunch money.

New from @policyalternatives.ca : Politicians have been framing interprovincial trade barriers as an end-all-be-all for dealing with the #Trump #tariffs. There's just one issue—the numbers that they're citing are wildly inflated. By @marclee.bsky.social www.policyalternatives.ca/news-researc...

Disgusting.

Scientists fear that Trump’s DEI crackdown will reshape who can participate in science for years to come, drain creativity, limit the scope of projects, and lead to worse research. “It is common sense that to have the best science, we need the broadest, most inclusive environment."

Yup. This.

Thank you for this excellent post. This is exactly what we've said too.

Gaza is Palestinian land. It always will be. Trump is a convicted felon. If he attempts to invade Gaza the United States will be become a gangster regime. But his threats amount to crimes against humanity. The world needs to be there for the children ofGaza.

Canadians used to joke that we were a mouse beside an elephant. Then comparisons got darker - living above a meth lab. Now we understand we live next to a gangster regime. But Canadians won't bend. The resistance is coming from ordinary folk. Please read and share. open.substack.com/pub/charliea...

A great way to avoid the drama and chaos is to put on your critical-thinking hat. Tying mine on tightly so the winds of nonsense don't blow it off. BTW, there's a book for that. @kidscanpress.bsky.social @canscaip.bsky.social @cbcqueenspark.bsky.social

I had a great talk with @meidastouch.bsky.social about standing up to Trump and calling out grifters like Kevin O'Leary. Our political leaders are letting us down in dealing with the Mar-a-Lago mob and the MAGA Maple crew. It's time to get our game face on. www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zys2...
