80 years ago today, April 12th 1945, President Franklin D. Roosevelt died from a massive stroke. His WH Doctor covered up how ill he was for a year, lying to the public repeatedly as he ran for re-election in 1944. This photo was taken the day before he died, at age 63. He aged terribly in the WH.

It's not a bad idea to go to the local Walmart or big box retailer and buy lots of consumables now. From toothpaste to soap, anything you can find storage space for, buy before they have to replenish inventory. Even if it's made in the USA , they will jack up the price and blame it on tariffs.
