Barbie could never 💋

I am a bit old school with my writing. First drafts are always hand written. I've been writing so much that my hand has been hurting. It's a good problem to have. #Inspired #writing

if we all start emailing strongbad then he has to make another one

While I appreciate that it comes from a place of genuine kindness, I really wish people would stop messaging me about my Mom today. Today I miss her so much it hurts and I just can't. Grief is like an open wound and those messages are like salt.

My husband and I put in an offer on our first house! 🤞

This is why women keep saying bear. Don't be like this fucking guy.

I find it weird that newspapers characterize students as being “pro-Palestinian” as opposed to anti whatever you call this.

Pierre Poilievere is an absolute bread box. What a miserable excuse for a human being. #cdnpoli

I am absolutely LIVING for how Jenn Lyon delivers EVERY single line in #DeadBoyDetectives #WitchCrush

Watched the first episode of #DeadBoyDetectives and it is a delightful romp. 😊

#RIP Bob Cole A Canadian legend 💔

Something is wrong with Pierre Poilievere. Not just politically but physically. He showed up looking just smashed on the side of the highway in the Maritimes. He's pale, disheveled, and doughy. He's either sick or drinking way too much. 😬

"I’m a Jew who’s been afraid at Palestine protests. Then, I learned more. I learned that I didn’t know what people were chanting. I learned there was a lot to unlearn. Then I decided I don’t want my identity used to shield a genocidal apartheid state."

I'm currently reading a novel written by a good friend. It's so fun to read a line and "hear" her voice and personality. 😊 I'm so stinking proud of her

Fuck me. "Earth Day" my ass. We learn NOTHING. www.cbc.ca/news/canada/... #earthday

I’m over here trying to unlock the mysteries of the Universe and you’re over there asking me for feet pics

I certainly didn't expect to start the day with an emergency alert that there was an armed man in the vicinity of my kids' school. I was low key terrified when they sent out notice that they were putting the school in lockdown. 1/2

I returned to the office today to discover my company made a donation to the Canadian Cancer Society in my Mom's memory ❤

Ran a few errands today with Little Big. It was nice to do something "normal" after a decidedly abnormal 2 weeks.

My Mom had asked for this to be read at her funeral service today. It's so on point it's like it was written about her.

My ex from 24 years ago showed up at the funeral home this evening. It was a lovely, if weird, surprise. He also told my husband that I was "the one that got away" which was also kind of weird if oddly flattering lol

My Dad says he keeps waking up and panicking because he thinks for a moment Mom just fell out of bed. He's always been so strong and it breaks my heart to see him so lost and in pain.

I am so tired. This has been a horrible, long week. ☹

My 87-year old Mum just had to pay $3,000 to retain a private doctor for another year because of the doctor shortage, and I'm furious. She has a right to a doctor in this country. She pays her goddamned taxes. The government owes her that money.

Going through photos of my mom has been cathartic. She's been so sick the last 3 1/2 years, that it was easy to forget the wonderful, vivacious person she had been before. ❤

This guy seems to have acquired a lot of property in just 3 months. I guess the current federal government is pretty good for him, after all.

We're now at the point of the week where the same people who pretended they didn't have a sister dying of cancer for almost 4 years now pretend to be distraught by her death. I shouldn't be petty, but my mom deserved better than these jerks.

My mom passed away this morning. We're all in shock, but it was quick and peaceful.

"This was not just a bad luck situation where ‘oops’ we dropped the bomb in the wrong place," Andres said. "Even if we were not in coordination with the (Israel Defense Forces), no democratic country and no military can be targeting civilians and humanitarians." www.reuters.com/world/middle...

If you cross reference the people mad about this and the people who claim that their bigotry is rooted in wanting to protect children, you will see it's one giant circle.
