So delighted with the turnout for my #booklaunch on Friday February 7th. Full house and sold out! Everyone is raving about the story of a #manx family’s immigration to #Canada via #michigan in the early 1900’s. it resonates with people who want to remember their ancestors.

This lone horse on the wide open prairie remind me of the theme in my #historicalfiction novel #timeenough. A family leaves the #isleofman in 1904, in search of a better life. They end up on the #saskatchewan prairie, just before the #greatdepression when the land blew to dust.

Reposting this from The Irish Times. Hope I did that right! It’s amazing because it reflects exactly what my novel talks about, which I just posted a minute ago. Then this popped up! Just perfect! The family of #manx miners is destitute because the father has lead poisoning from the mine.

My new #historicalfiction novel Time Enough will be published on January 1, 2025. It’s a family saga spanning three decades in the early 1900’s, when they must leave their home on the #isleofman and go to America. The view might have been their last glimpse of home, through the window of the train.
