I finally finished reading a 570pg novel that I started in 2018 but only now got to read for 3 mo consistently. I didn’t love it but was committed to seeing it through. It could’ve been cut in half with all the filler removed. But I guess if you’re a bestselling author, editors let you do whatever.

The movie Three Men & a Baby was ahead of its time. I was expecting the 3 straight guys to shame the mum when she comes back after leaving her baby at their doorstep. Instead, she said she needed help & couldn’t parent alone. They asked her to move in so they could all be a family. This was 1987.
