Friday: One Man Musical from Flo and Joan at the Soho Boulevard - this was great! Really funny, even approaching poignancy at times, and gosh I like the Boulevard as a venue. Lovely staff and even the cheap seats didn't have a terrible view.

Last night: The Years @ Harold Pinter Theatre. Made me cry a bit three times, but perhaps not quite as blown away as some have been previously. I feel that that kind of ensemble story telling isn't that new if you've seen a lot of fringe/devised theatre.

Be ungovernable.

Actual commercial kitchens have machines for peeling potatoes, chopping tomatoes, right? #theapprentice

Last night: half of Antigone [on strike] at the Park Theatre - was interesting (though maybe dwelled a bit too long in the scenes) but alas was stopped after an audience member became ill. Will I eventually watch the whole thing? Who knows!

I am alway saying this: Women hate food and love cocaine. pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC...

First time I've said this on here, but hardly likely to be the last. Any other #NCFC folks not getting iFollow at all? (Or whatever it's called now)

Back in the day when I worked at Stagetext, I went to access to the arts conferences (LEAD) organised by the Kennedy Center. It is dismaying to see fascist politicians interfering in its work, and also see its leadership seemingly rolling over. www.thestage.co.uk/opinion/trum...

I know you're all saying The Years is really good, but nearly two hours with no interval?

For what it's worth, I am very much in favour of immigration and think we should make it easier and not harder. I don't believe I am the only person with this view.

Somewhat belatedly, a very quick review of The Devil May Care at Southwark Playhouse the other week - this was a little hard going during the first half, but the second half fair whipped along and really made me laugh. Absolutely missed most of the implications of the adaption if I'm 100% honest.

Whoo, Mimbre's on Bluesky!

Proper Sandhurst v Catterick vibes with Alexander and Leanne

My word. Solidarity with trans Americans today. And Americans in general. And probably all of us.

And yesterday: Revenge: After the Levoyah at the Yard Theatre in Hackney Wick. Really funny and I think there was a serious point about antisemitism in London/Essex in there too. Also just a really nice experience visiting that theatre in general - looking forward to when it has more toilets though.

Last week: finally made it to the Backyard Comedy Club for the Thursday new material night. It was great! Packed full of comedians and really well run. I will go again.

Why stop here? What lessons can theatre learn from Barratt Homes approach to housebuilding? What lessons can theatre learn from Sainsbury's distribution of in-store bakeries? What lessons can theatre learn from David Dickinson's career highlights?

16 documents - 1 presentation + 15 'appendices' for Mimbre's board meeting next week. Think this might be a new record. #NPOlove #ACE #LetsCreate #LetsCreateSpreadsheets

Last night: a WIP from Greg Davies at Soho Theatre. As is often the case with Davies' work, just a *little* too scatological for me, but I laughed a great deal.

Last week: Adam Riches and John Kearns are 'Ball & Boe’ at Soho Theatre. So much fun! Probably for me the highlight was the opening number, but it's not as if what came after that was at all bad. Making the camp even more camp.

Norwich's late winners are also excellent. #coyy #otbc #ncfc

Vea or the Traitors, Vera or the Traitors.... Hmm

Oh I never posted about Ballet Shoes at the NT: really enjoyed this, from the gorgeous set, to the lovely pre-show interaction, to the amazing cast. There were two understudies on stage but I couldn't have told you who it was.

Come on, Norwich! #OTBC #NCFC

Boxing Day: Aladdin at Norwich Theatre Royal. Lots and lots of fun, but not a classic for me personally. Quite enjoyed how they side-stepped accusations of cultural appropriation by just setting it in olde worlde Norwich and describing Great Yarmouth as the 'far east'.

After a thorough investigation the EFL have penalized #NCFC six points for the actions of their supporter's ancestors during Kett's Rebellion.

This week already feels like it's been going on for years.

Open to hearing any and all dirt you might have on Wes Streeting and Mike Nesbitt. Email in total confidence lee @ transwrites.world.

Also - on Friday, Stewart Lee vs The Man-Wulf at the Leicester Square Theatre. This was exactly like how you'd expect a Stewart Lee show to be - very funny, very clever, a bit meta - and probably to say any more would count as a spoiler!

Gotta say the fury coming from some of the away support yesterday at QPR was pretty embarrassing. I'm not sure these men had heard of the concept of being a bit phlegmatic about things. Maybe it was too much of the cocaines. #OTBC #NCFC
