I normally struggle to read books that are longer than 15 hours but not with the Legendborn series. These books are LONG but for a REASON. Each book has a good pace, it’s a balanced mix of plot and romance, and it never FEELS like a 20+ hour read. Tracy Deonn cracked the code for long books.

As someone on booktok/booktube I refuse to review anything written by Sarah J. Maas or Rebecca Yarros. Would it be easy money? Yes. But SJM used the tragic murder of Breonna Taylor to promote her books and RY is a zionist. No amount of money is worth platforming those people.

I’m slowly realizing that any book I’ve ever read is in some way inspired by Greek myths/history. Why, after over a DECADE, did I find out JUST NOW that The Hunger Games follows the story of Theseus and the Minotaur 😃 I just have to read more Greek literature starting with The Odyssey 😌
