Anosmia (noun): the loss of the sense of smell, either total or partial. Prior to COVID, I'm reasonably sure that the majority of people hadn't heard of anosmia, but since one of the big symptoms of the OG virus strain was a loss of smell and taste (ageusia), it's definitely entered the lexicon.
