Awake again already and still so so tired. And with a day full of things that need to be done. Sometimes I wish I could go to sleep and just, not wake up.

If Clive Palmer wants to piss away 100 grand, he's welcome to direct it into my pockets.

America, you lot need to get your President under control before he sees us all embroiled in another World War.

Tried Noodle Box for the first time. Wasn't expecting much from a chain store. Pleasantly surprised. Not Michelin quality but tasty & filling. Packed a lot of food in little box. Spring roll bigger than it looks in pic. Expected to finish hungry, instead I have leftovers. Definitely recommend!

Spoilers for The Fog by James Herbert -- only read if you've reached p. 92 . . . . . . . . . . . . . I'm loving this book so far. I can see why it's rated highly. I struggled a bit with the schoolboy scene. Question to ponder: Why does the fog cause murder in some, but suicide in others? #bluesky

It's time for the Wasted Weekend! What are you reading? I'm just about to start on 'The Fog' by James Herbert. It has a 3.88 rating on Goodreads, but only 6% are < 3 stars, the rest being split relatively evenly between 3, 4, and 5 stars. So, I'm very much looking forward to reading it! #booksky

If Ahmad “Rashad” Nadir is an example of a naturalised Australian, the tests should be harder. We welcome him into our country and this is how he repays us. And is Sarah Abu Lebdeh also a citizen? They should move to Palestine or Israel if they want to kill innocents. It has no place in my country.

If the world doesn't rise up and rail against Trump's takeover of Gaza, a sovereign state, then we are as good as giving him carte blanche to do it again. Like a serial killer starting with society's outcasts, this is a test case. If we let him get away with this, it might be your country next.

1/2 I'm too new to reddit to be able to post in r/AskAnAmerican, so I'm hoping for an answer here: someone on YouTube said something that didn't seem quite right -- that to vote for Democrats or Republicans you have to register with the party you want to vote for and...

I remembered that I actually did finish a book this week, so here's the updated summary lol. #booksky

NSFW warning: uses the C word a lot. Still, it's a nice message for those who need to hear it.

I often find older classics a chore. It was quite the fashion of the time to revel in lengthy, rambling descriptions and convoluted anecdotes of the past. It is my opinion that many such stories could benefit greatly from the attentions of a fair, but strict, editor. #booksky

Dear Coles, the range of choice is one of the main reasons I shop there. If you don't have that, why should I choose you over Drakes or Foodlands?

Just watched a trailer reaction for Jurassic World Rebirth and I have a question: you're on an expedition to an island filled with wild dinosaurs - WHY THE FUCK WOULD YOU BRING YOUR KID?

This is why I'm so picky with American documentaries. Dude, unknown marine animal, not sea monster. Why are American commentators so bloody dramatic?

1/2 Anyone who agrees with Trump is a fucking hypocrite. I mean, ffs, if Mexico bombed the shit out of the States, then turned around and said, oh the place is levelled, why would you want to live here...
