Black Throated Thrush ✅️ Thanks to all the organisers of the access yesterday. Impressive donation to a local nature charity too. As you can see my phonescoping skills go from strength to strength #hantsbirds

Donald Trump has betrayed America. If you couldn’t see it before, you just saw it today.

FDT🤬

To all my US friends, my thoughts are with you at this difficult time.

Dear Volodymyr Zelenskyy, dear Ukrainian friends, you are not alone.

This is how I feel also

Imagine you were the richest man in the world. You could have anything you wanted, go anywhere you wished, do whatever took you fancy. How would you spend your weekend? Depriving the poorest people in the world of food and healthcare and boasting about it?

I took this phonescoped pic this morning of a Long Eared Owl on the Selsey peninsula. I know theres 3 birds around, but it was only when I got home and had a good look at this photo that I realised theres a second bird sitting to it's right. Never noticed the second bird through the scope.

Another visit to the Selsey peninsular to catch up with the LEO's. Pretty pleased with this phonescoped shot

Great thread.

I mean, that's outstanding.

I really thought I would never see a LEO. What a start to the new birding year.

I wouldn't say the Russian Whitefronts at Holkham, or the Fulmar at Hunny, or the Marshies at Titchwell, or the Hen Harrier at Titchwell made up for dipping the Shore Lark at Holkham, but it was very close. Back home to Hampshire tomorrow. Love Norfolk. I'll be back soon. #norfolkbirding

Russian White Fronted Geese at a damp Holkham this afts. As you can see, my phonescoping goes from strength to strength🤭 #norfolkbirding

Just a few of the HUGE flock of Pink Foots I saw today as we drove between Wells and Blakeney. There must have been 2000 birds. They landed just up the road and we were able to pull up and get great views of them on the deck through the bins. Gob smacking. #norfolkbirding

Ukraine is winning. All a defending country has to do, is defend. 1000 days and Ukraine still defending Slava Ukrainii

#NorfolkBirding I will be in Titchwell for a few days next week. Can anyone direct me, from the car park on Lady Annes Drive, how to find the roped off area of beach where the Shore Larks have been showing at Holkham. Would be a lifer for me if they hang around. T.i.a.

Hawfinch found in West Sussex this morning. Quite distant so had to phonescope. Probably 8 or 9 birds feeding on Yew seeds
