I just found Raclette cheese for the first time in the uk. Told the kids how we used to eat it in Chamonix. Cooked some. Fair to say I’d forgotten how pungent it is. My ten year old has asked if we can move house to get away from it. Every door and window is open. No one is talking to me

I grew up with this wonderful woman in black and white, she cooked then with her husband,Jonny, she actually inspired me and it’s all I ever wanted to be, a cook on the telly, I used to pretend to be her in the bath and make “pudding”out of talc and bubble bath talking just like her!
