It’s twink-me

Got a reading and a haircut and am eating ridiculous rich people foods

Guy who calls electricity “phone juice”

On YouTube I was force-fed an ad for meta that used an obvious ai re-make of “multi-family garage sale” by Land of the Loops and it bummed me out

TIL Godzilla did 9/11

My day was: “I’m working on a roof, I don’t really understand this job, it wasn’t supposed to rain, and yet that is what it is doing”

Once again, dear reader, I have no idea what’s going on

The estate of Joshua Caleb Weibley is a generational talent whose whole thing is just being smart and great

I’m kind of hoping it’s like the harris campaign where his popularity surges right up until the moment he opens his mouth and then it all just completely deflates with a sustained wet fart

A 14-year-old American boy and his two friends were gunned down by Israeli soldiers Sunday night. Their largely American village in the West Bank is wondering why Trump and the U.S. government have said so little about the killing of one of its citizens.

Blue sky is awesome because a bunch of people who like to make jokes and a bunch of people who are incapable of identifying a joke are forced to share space

Why do I feel so blessed and cursed in equal measure

I spent most of my day talking on the phone with people I haven’t seen in a while that I care about. 10/10 no notes way to spend the day

NEW: Andrew Cuomo used ChatGPT to help write the housing plan he released this weekend, which included several nonsensical passages. The plan even cites to ChatGPT on a section about the Rent Guidelines Board. hellgatenyc.com/andrew-cuomo...

I was briefly trapped in an elevator at work last week and I still think the idea of being trapped in an elevator while on the clock at an hourly rate is very funny

This makes incredible, depressing sense

It’s really the color coordinated folders. This embarrassing moment was thoroughly planned in advance

I feel kind of embarrassed for people at these sanders/ocasio-cortez rallies. You’re more than 8 years late, we’re way past that now

I shouldn’t have filed my taxes

Oh my god

On a certain level, conceptual art is like the “build a better mousetrap” conundrum in that it’s about figuring out new ways of things and that’s probably what I like most about it. “What if *this* was art?” “Wow, what if I did *this*, but as art?”

Tired: The left should embrace a “pro-natal” politics which promotes birth rates. Wired: The left should construct a “pro-human” politics which promotes thriving communities and explicitly opposes oligarchy and AI control that replaces democracy and human agency.

I sure hope we can soon fully dispense with the idea that the accumulation and hoarding of wealth is in any way correlated to intelligence or superiority of any kind.

I’m bummed out because I started reaching out to people I haven’t talked to in a while and one ghosted me completely for a few weeks. I’m kind of just left speculating what I did and it isn’t great

Very half-formed thought: it occurs that our country’s support of anything the teenage doge brigade would defund in the arts/culture/social services is already so anemic that they all operate under the expectation of not receiving much in the way of support anyways and are barely inconvenienced

I’m unreasonably mad at this

@glenbaldridge.bsky.social @klausgallery.bsky.social tonight. Animals going about their normal routine without a single blessed thought towards us and our stupid society (look closely to spot the deer in Glen’s automated sights), all bathed in lysergic color and light
